A fun time at Dave and Buster’s

These are a few pictures from last night at Dave and Buster’s up in the cities.  We ended up having a group of about 12 people. It was a good time. Laura enjoyed her island mojitos. It was sort of like a casino except they had video games and things like skee-ball and basketball, even horse racing. You collected tickets from the machines and then you could trade them in for prizes like stuffed animals, video games, and for some reason blenders. It’s definitely worth another visit. The pictures are of Laura with her mojito, me with Dave and Christine, a group shot in the mirror, and Mike playing a game.

  1. That does look like fun, but isn’t it really loud in there? That’s why I hate Chuck E. Cheese. I suppose if you are in the right (lubricated) mood, it would be lots of fun!

  2. Yeah it’s definitely loud. But the place is sort of broken up into the restaurant section and the game section so it’s not too bad while you’re eating. After a Summit and two Leinie’s it was fine.

  3. Skee-ball? I LOVE skee-ball! That place sounds like a lot of fun. Though how does the horse racing work? What did you guys get with your tickets?

  4. Yeah skee-ball is great. We didn’t actually play any games though. We watched others play some. Next time we’ll play. We didn’t stay very long after dinner because it was getting pretty late and we were heading back home. Most of the others stayed in a hotel. Maybe Laura can chime in with what the horse racing was all about cause I didn’t actually see that. She told me about it. There was a pretty cool trivia game too that we watched for a while.

  5. What? I didn’t see the horse racing game and/or tell you about it! I think you’re thinking of some other girl…

But yeah, the next time we go, I’m probably going to spend all my time at either (a) the skee-ball game (b) the trivia game or (c) that game where you have to try to push the coins off the edge. :)

  6. Huh, it must have been Mike or Dave talking about the horse racing game. Now we need to go back just to investigate that.

  7. “Now we need to go back just to investigate that.”

-I think you’ve been playing too much CSI…

  8. Ha ha. We can take the mobile lab along with us to help in the investigation.

For anyone who isn’t Laura or Justin, we just bought the new CSI game for Xbox 360 last night. It’s very addicting.

  9. Glad to see updates on what you guys are up to! Looks like fun! Laura, I remember the fun we used to have at the fair pushing the coins and prizes over the edge.
