Webcam: The duck and the turtle

Our turtle was lonely so we went back to the dollar store and got a duck egg. We left it in the water a long time so he got pretty huge.

Buddies!
We sure had a GREAT time this weekend! Thanks for everything. I’ve been telling everyone about our waitress with the man hands!! Hope to see you guys for Easter.
I turned on Seinfeld after work today and it was the man hands episode! Weird. We went up and saw Leah and Greg and Kami and Ryan and the babies yesterday. It was a good time. Miles is getting big.
Laura posted on facebook about the man hands episode. That is too funny! I also saw her pics from Kami’s. He is getting big! I plan to go see him this weekend. Russ has a seminar all weekend to update his electrician’s license, so he will be busy. We will probably open Nahma next weekend. Hope to see you guys at Easter.
Did you guys hear from Vicki & John yet? She texted me on Sunday right as we were leaving down to say they were on their way there. John’s appointment got moved to Monday. I haven’t heard yet how things are going.
Haven’t heard anything from Vicki and John. I’m sure they have their hands full with the stuff they have going on.
We opened the house this weekend. Leah, Greg & Miles came, too. Had a great weekend watching the tournament. So happy to hear you are coming!! Church is at 10:30 on Sunday morning. We were thinking about doing Easter dinner Saturday instead because everyone has to go home on Sunday. Can’t wait to see you guys!
Hey, update once in a while, will ya?!? Are you guys still alive? Are you coming home for Memorial Day? We’re have a big benefit party at the Nahma Hall that Saturday for Sonja. Rod’s band is going to play. It should be fun!
Yeah we need to be better about keeping this place up to date. We are planning on coming home for Memorial Day at this point, I doubt that would change but I will let you know.
Justin, thanks for the book! I love it! I didn’t get the mail since Thursday, so I just opened it tonight. Thank a lot. The card was funny, too! I have to get my mint plant before we can do mojitos! Dad says thanks for the Crown towel, too. It’s very pretty. I love the purple!
So, hi. Haven’t talked in awhile. What have you guys been up to? Have you been out bike riding at all yet?
Oh, and Miles says hi! (Or he would if he could talk. I mean, he can talk, but you know what I mean.) Wait until you see him in a few weeks, he’s huge!
I keep meaning to put up a new post but then I never seem to have anything to talk about. It’s been pretty quiet around here. Just your basic day to day activities of life I guess. Laura works 10:00 – 6:00 pretty much every day, then comes home and makes dinner. We’ll watch a couple shows or a movie, or if nothing’s on maybe we’ll make a run to target. If I’m not working ot watching TV with Laura then I’m usually playing video games. These aren’t typically the things that make for good posts.
We did go see Jesse Ventura at Barnes and Noble a while back. That was pretty cool. The amount of people was insane. We had to wait probably two hours to get our picture with him. He’s great to listen to.
We haven’t been out on the trail yet. I did fix Laura’s flat tire a while back and we rode over to the IBM park for a picnic. We keep planning on getting out to the trail just about every weekend and then just never end up going. I think that will change soon though.
We’re both looking forward to making it back to Nahma for Memorial Day. I can’t wait to see Miles. That picture of him in the headband is awesome.
Leah, love the pic of Miles with the headband. He looks like he’s ready to do some Richard Simmons!
