Tornado damage on the Douglas Trail

A tornado hit northwest Rochester on Thursday night and damaged about 30 houses and ripped part of the roof off of Menards.  We went for a ride to Pine Island today on the Douglas Trail and there were quite a few trees down in the section where the tornado went through.  It was our first trip of the year to Pine Island.

We were proud to have made it all the way on our first trip.

  1. As you can see, I’m the new sponsor girl for Amp Energy Drinks…lol.

  2. You need to get a chainsaw with a shoulder-strap so you can clean up the trails as you ride.

  3. It’s surprising that no one cleaned it up right away. The trail gets some heavy use and they seem to take good care of it.
